Luke 3:10-11 He who has 2 coats give to he who has none.  Do the same for food.

Christians are the hands and feet of God which means He works through us to feed individuals that are hungry, cloth children who need new clothing, help families that are in desperate situations and love people in general.  Show the tangible love of God by assisting someone today who needs help no matter how small the act.  We're blessed, so let's bless others.

Coats For Kids & Free Clothing

Recipients = 1,557

The first organized charity event that we ever had under the name "The Kids Charity" back in 2009 was a free winter coat giveaway at a homeless shelter in San Antonio, TX.  We've since worked with various local schools to provide many young children with all types of new clothing.  Definitely one of my favorite programs!

Diapers & Other Baby Items

Recipients = 247

There is a huge need to provide support and love for young mothers who are facing huge financial obstacles while raising their children.  We've taken on a supporting role for some of these teenagers that are in the process of finishing high school by buying them some of the items that their babies need.

Mentors, Tutors & School Supplies

Recipients = 200+

The children are of course, our future.  The way that we shape them today, will determine how our future will look tomorrow, so they are definitely worth investing in.  We have partnered with Dr. Cynthia Carter of W.U.T.S. ministries in Houston, TX to provide kids in disadvantage communities with tutoring & mentoring.

Clean Water Africa (Mayuge, Uganda)

Recipients = 375/month

This is currently our biggest international project.  Over 800 million people in the world do not have access to clean water.  Many of our brothers and sisters in different parts of the world are plagued with illnesses that come from drinking, bathing in or cooking with unsafe water.  We' re working to change that by building water wells.

Immigrant Assistance Program

Recipients = 47

First, let me say that I DO NOT believe in "illegal" immigrants on God's earth nor do I agree with how many are viewed and treated by others who claim to be children of God.  But instead of ranting about the perception of my brothers and sisters migrating or fleeing here, I'll just say we're creating programs to help them as they arrive.

Partnership School Supplies

Recipients = 3,100+

We travel to New Braunsfel, TX every year to co-sponsor a HUGE back-to-school supply drive for several hundred local students.  The children receive backpacks full of the school supplies that they'll need for the year and they 100% deserve it.  We work with Dr. Christopher Williams @Toothtime Family Dentistry for this event.  We also partner with Dr. Cynthia Carter @W.U.T.S. Ministries in Houston, TX to co-sponsor their supply drive.

Homeless Bi-Weekly Help

Recipients = 77

Twice monthly, we take care packages to homeless people living under bridges.  This includes body wipes, soap, hand sanitizer, women products, food and other misc items.  We do not currently take pictures for this program.  I do plan to soon spend a couple of nights with them on the streets to better understand their situation since I am guilty of not being a WORKER in this area & many others as shown by the pie chart.  Let's do better!

Charity = Ministry

Faith + Works:  Some of the most profound verses in the Bible are in the first chapters of the Book of James.  The subject matter is how we, as Christians, must add work to our faith to make a positive impact in people's lives.

Let us not forget to meet people's physical needs as we pray for them spiritually.  A balance must occur between faith and action as live for God.
